What should I expect during and after my treatment?
During a complimentary consultation with one of our team, we will develop a women’s wellness plan with you. If VTone or FormaV are part of that plan, no preparation is needed and we can proceed with your treatment immediately or schedule it for another time if you are menstruating.
VTone and FormaV are generally quick and painless procedures, completed in about an hour without anesthesia, surgery, or downtime. Patients will feel a heating sensation during the treatment. While some patients may experience some slight discomfort during and immediately after the treatment, the majority experience no discomfort at all.
After the procedure, there is no recovery. Most patients can resume normal life immediately. Treated areas may be sensitive for 48 hours, so intercourse should be avoided. After 48 hours, most patients begin to experience better urinary control and less leakage as well as improved sexual sensation. Results of this treatment are cumulative. Many patients continue with 6-8 treatments to achieve the best possible results. Annual maintenance treatments are recommended. Individual results vary.
