What To Expect
Here’s how it usually goes:
- FREE Consultation – before your first session, you’ll have a consultation with a master esthetician where they assess your skin type and determine the right settings for you. We may perform a patch test to ensure the laser is suitable for your skin type.
- Preparation – shave before you come in for your first treatment. Remove any oils, lotions, make up, or self tanner from the area being treated.
- Treatment – your master esthetician will use a handheld laser device to treat targeted areas. The device will be placed on your skin, and the laser will pulse in rapid succession. The process is fast and painless, usually taking only a few minutes. Most people describe the sensation as a mild snapping with little or no pain. Cooling gel is used to reduce discomfort.
- Post Treatment – A little redness or swelling is common, like a light sunburn. This usually resolves in a few hours. Avoid hot water, sun exposure, or vigorous exercise immediately after. Your esthetician may recommend products to help with comfort and healing. You can schedule your next treatment in 6 weeks. After seven treatments in one area, you qualify for unlimited touch ups for life!
